A daily email (default 8am UTC) listing new relevant job postings across your monitored companies. Your first email is a snapshot of everything currently live at your priority companies — so you can act immediately. Every subsequent email contains only roles posted since the previous alert. If nothing new is found, no email is sent.
Your monitored company set also expands automatically each day (see "Why am I seeing older job postings?" below), so later emails may include roles from a wider range of companies.
This is by design. When you sign up, FirstPost monitors your top-priority companies first — the ones most relevant to your preferences and CV. Each day, your monitored set automatically expands to include the next batch of relevant companies.
When a company enters your feed for the first time, all of its currently-live matching roles are sent to you — even if those roles were posted a day or two earlier. This is intentional: you shouldn't miss a great role just because it was posted before it entered your feed. Subsequent emails from that company will only contain genuinely new postings.

The majority of companies use standard ATS platforms with public APIs that are very reliable. A small number use custom career pages that can occasionally fail or block automated access. If this affects your feed, we'll notify you and suggest alternatives. Every effort is made to keep coverage as broad and accurate as possible.
Yes, at any time through your account dashboard. Changes to your keyword filters, company list, or location preferences take effect at your next scheduled alert.
Your CV is used solely to tune your keyword configuration and is stored securely on encrypted AWS infrastructure. It is never shared with any third party, including the companies in your feed. You can request deletion at any time from your account settings.
